I worked with Gavin in a local government partnership capacity for more than 10 years. Gavin was always warm and welcoming, funny and supportive. He was an excellent chairperson at meetings, and I came to think of him as a friend; whenever I bumped into Gavin at a conference or user group I knew that we would have a nice day. Earlier this year Gavin made a special effort to come to my leaving do in Nottingham, and I am still really touched that he went out of his way to join us. He will be greatly missed by many, I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences to all of his family and friends. Remembered always.
